Blackcurrant box mod Tank in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Blackcurrant in Bristol: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Blackcurrant is allowed to say
A blackcurrant box mod from the cheapest options in Bristol costs about £1.78 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.78 per 10 ml.
The short version: blackcurrant in Bristol works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant box mod really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at blackcurrant in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested blackcurrant in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for blackcurrant in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
