Cherry squonk mod Tank in Bristol: the deals shortlist
Cherry in Bristol: 19 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
A cherry squonk mod from the discounted options in Bristol costs about £1.94 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.94 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry squonk mod really costs in Bristol
Cherry in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested cherry in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should cherry start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How long does cherry in a squonk mod last?
In Bristol we measured 4 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
