What coconut costs in Bristol
The honest read on coconut: 19 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at coconut in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: coconut in Bristol works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut vape pen really costs in Bristol
We run coconut the same way in Bristol: same vape pen, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested coconut in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coconut tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.85 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should coconut start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
Is coconut legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
