Home / Coffee pen device Tank in Bristol: the review shortlist

Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window

Coffee sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.

If you are looking at coffee in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.

If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a coffee pen device really costs in Bristol

The honest read on coffee: 15 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.

How we tested coffee in a pen device

1. Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.

• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
• Spare parts availability for pen device in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coffee bottle shipped into Bristol.
• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.

Where coffee goes wrong

• Treating the advertised £48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.97 per 10 ml.
• Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
• Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
