Coffee sub-ohm kit Tank in Bristol: the price shortlist
Coffee in Bristol: 7 units tested over 3 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the coffee habit
We run coffee the same way in Bristol: same sub-ohm kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Coffee in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: coffee in Bristol works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coffee sub-ohm kit really costs in Bristol
Coffee sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested coffee in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing coffee with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Packaging for coffee in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should coffee start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
