Cola pen device Tank in Bristol: the compare shortlist
Cola in Bristol: 12 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What cola costs in Bristol
Cola in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A cola pen device from the compared options in Bristol costs about £2.06 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cola pen device really costs in Bristol
We run cola the same way in Bristol: same pen device, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested cola in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cola bottle shipped into Bristol.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where cola goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Treating the advertised £34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.06 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for cola in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does cola in a pen device last?
In Bristol we measured 9 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does cola taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the cola blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cola the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.06 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
