How we tested Dessert squonk mod here
Dessert in Bristol reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run dessert the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a dessert squonk mod really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at dessert in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested dessert in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.07 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.07 per 10 ml liquid plus £33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is dessert legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
