Grapey RDA Tank in Bristol: the guide shortlist
Grapey in Bristol: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the grapey habit
The honest read on grapey: 8 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Grapey in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey RDA really costs in Bristol

How we tested grapey in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within £3.01 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should grapey start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
