Iced box mod Tank in Bristol: the budget shortlist
Iced in Bristol: 20 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.21 per 10 ml.
The honest read on iced: 20 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: iced in Bristol works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced box mod really costs in Bristol
A iced box mod from the budget options in Bristol costs about £3.21 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested iced in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where iced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.21 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.21 per 10 ml liquid plus £64 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does iced in a box mod last?
In Bristol we measured 5 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
