Lime in Bristol: 7 units tested over 7 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What lime costs in Bristol
We run lime the same way in Bristol: same refill pack, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A lime refill pack from the bulk options in Bristol costs about £2.82 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: lime in Bristol works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime refill pack really costs in Bristol
We run lime the same way in Bristol: same refill pack, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested lime in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where lime goes wrong
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On lime the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.82 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
