Ordering Tank to Bristol: the practical version
The honest read on pear: 13 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Pear 10 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: pear in Bristol works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear 10 ml bottle really costs in Bristol
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.92 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a 10 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where pear goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised £30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.92 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.92 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 10 ml bottle.
How long does pear in a 10 ml bottle last?
In Bristol we measured 3 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
