Plain RDA Tank in Bristol: the budget shortlist
Plain in Bristol: 13 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a RDA for plain
Plain in Bristol reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A plain RDA from the budget options in Bristol costs about £2.09 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain RDA really costs in Bristol
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.09 per 10 ml.
How we tested plain in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where plain goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for plain in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.09 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
