Sweet in Bristol: 24 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Ordering Tank to Bristol: the practical version
Sweet in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A sweet RDA from the best options in Bristol costs about £2.88 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: sweet in Bristol works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet RDA really costs in Bristol
A sweet RDA from the best options in Bristol costs about £2.88 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sweet in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Treating the advertised £65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.88 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
