Tobacco vape pen Tank in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Tobacco in Bristol: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Tobacco is allowed to say
Tobacco sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.04 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long tobacco tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested tobacco in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tobacco tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.04 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
