Where buyers go wrong with tropical in Bristol
If you are looking at tropical in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 100 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Tropical in Bristol reaches the shelf in 100 ml bottle formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical 100 ml bottle really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at tropical in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 100 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested tropical in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.33 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.33 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 100 ml bottle.
