If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical 100 ml bottle really costs in Bristol
Tropical 100 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tropical in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 100 ml bottle.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.78 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
