Tropical mesh tank Tank in Bristol: the deals shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 14 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit
If you are looking at tropical in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Tropical in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical mesh tank really costs in Bristol
There is no single best way to buy Tank in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested tropical in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.65 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.65 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.65 per 10 ml liquid plus £57 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
