Tropical nicotine salt bottle Tank in Bristol: the compare shortlist — Bristoltank
Tropical in Bristol: 15 units tested over 3 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.23 per 10 ml.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical nicotine salt bottle really costs in Bristol
Tropical in Bristol reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested tropical in a nicotine salt bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for tropical in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
