Tropical RDA Tank in Bristol: the budget shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 15 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
We run tropical the same way in Bristol: same RDA, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching Tank in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical RDA really costs in Bristol
A tropical RDA from the budget options in Bristol costs about £2.66 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Bristol survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for tropical in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 2–4 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.66 per 10 ml liquid plus £37 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
