Tropical RDA Tank in Bristol: the guide shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Where buyers go wrong with tropical in Bristol
Tropical RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical RDA really costs in Bristol
A tropical RDA from the starter options in Bristol costs about £2.38 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised £30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.38 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.38 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
