Vanilla RDA Tank in Bristol: the deals shortlist
Vanilla in Bristol: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
If you are looking at vanilla in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Vanilla sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a vanilla RDA really costs in Bristol
Most people searching Tank in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested vanilla in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.87 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £1.87 per 10 ml liquid plus £52 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does vanilla in a RDA last?
In Bristol we measured 9 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
