Tropical squonk mod Tank in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.9 per 10 ml.
Tropical in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical squonk mod really costs in Bristol
We run tropical the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tropical in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised £28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.9 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in the UK |

| Entry kit | £28 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | £2.9 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does tropical in a squonk mod last?
In Bristol we measured 9 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.9 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
